Dr. Bowker graduated from University of South Dakota receiving his Bachelor of Science. In 1997 he graduated from the Illinois College of Optometry receiving his Doctorate.
Dr. Bowker has been a part of Vision Care Clinic for over 20 years. Dr. Bowker is a member of the Iowa Optometric Association (IOA) and the American Optometric Association (AOA). He has served on the IOA Board of Trustees, he is a past President, and he currently serves on their Eyecare Benefits committee. He is also a member of Rotary International, and serves on the Crawford County Foundation Board.
Dr. Bowker enjoys being very active in the Denison community through many volunteer efforts. Dr. Bowker’s wife is an elementary teacher and they have three children. In Dr. Bowker’s spare time he is an avid golfer and fisherman and enjoys various outdoor activities.
